Practice Lead – D365 CE & Power Platform

Home-based in the UK (no sponsorship can be offered)

This role is for a D365 CE and Power Platform Leader who has both strategic vision and hands-on solution architecture expertise. In this role, you would lead the design and delivery of complex enterprise solutions, guide technical teams, and champion best practices across the Microsoft ecosystem.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, delivery, and architecture of Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform solutions for enterprise clients.
  • Establish, develop, and govern a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
  • Provide hands-on solution architecture, including system integrations, data modeling, customizations, and automation using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Define best practices, design standards, and governance frameworks for Microsoft Business Applications.
  • Lead and mentor high-performing technical teams, fostering collaboration and continuous skill development.
  • Work closely with clients, project managers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Maintain awareness of Microsoft ecosystem updates, tools, and emerging trends, ensuring solutions remain current and innovative.
  • Drive enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives, balancing technical excellence with measurable business outcomes.
  • Support pre-sales activities by providing technical expertise, solution design, and thought leadership.


Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong solution architecture experience in Dynamics 365 CE/CRM (Sales, Service, Field Service, Marketing modules).
  • Expertise in Power Platform: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
  • Experience leading technical teams, delivering complex projects, and establishing CoEs.
  • Proven ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of integration patterns, APIs, and Microsoft cloud architecture.
  • Understanding of governance, compliance, and best practices within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Microsoft certifications are a plus:
  • PL-600: Power Platform Solution Architect
  • MB-200 / MB-210 / MB-230 / MB-400: Dynamics 365 certifications
