Hours: Mon – Fri 7-4 / Fri 7.30-12.30

Purpose of the Role
As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. You will support both existing and new business opportunities, driving a Right First-Time philosophy that positions us as a trusted supplier in the aerospace industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide quality and inspection support across all stages of production.
- Maintain quality control in line with business standards and customer requirements.
- Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) and verify component compliance.
- Identify recurring quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct root cause analysis using tools such as 5Y, SPC, and other quality techniques.
- Manage non-conformance procedures and calibration activities.
- Support internal audits and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (ISO 9001 & ISO 5001).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on improvement projects and new product introductions.
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing (NADCAP knowledge advantageous).
- Strong engineering background with ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Skilled in using precision measuring equipment (verniers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, DTI).
- Previous internal auditing experience and familiarity with ISO standards.
- Knowledge of machining, fabrication, treatments, and chemical/special processes.
- Practical problem-solving skills and experience with lean tools (8D, Kaizen).
- IT proficiency and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- CMM experience desirable but not essential.
- Awareness of FMEA, APQP, PPAP for New Product Introduction.
