Now Hiring: Bridging/BTL Finance Underwriter – Real Estate Lending

Manchester based - Hybrid Position

I’m partnering with a dynamic lender in the UK real estate finance space that’s looking to bring on board an experienced Bridging/BTL Finance Underwriter. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing team where you’ll play a key role in assessing large and complex deals, managing relationships with brokers and solicitors, and driving cases through to completion.

What you’ll be doing:

✅ Underwriting and assessing fully packaged loan applications in line with credit policy and risk appetite

✅ Engaging directly with brokers/introducers to clarify deals and resolve queries

✅ Reviewing valuations, legal documents, and reports to progress applications

✅ Preparing and updating credit papers, issuing mortgage offers, and facilitating completion

✅ Acting as the key point of contact for complex cases, ensuring SLA standards are met

What we’re looking for:

Excellent understanding of the full loan process (bridging/BTL property finance experience essential)

Ability to communicate confidently with brokers, solicitors, and customers

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in case handling
