Midweight Digital Designer in City of London

Job description

We're working with a growing creative agency that’s looking to bring on a Midweight Digital Designer/ Developer, someone who can combine strong technical ability with creative design skills to help shape their internal digital platforms and visual communications.

It’s a great opportunity for a multi-skilled creative who enjoys working across design and development, from maintaining and evolving internal web tools to creating digital assets that bring internal campaigns and communications to life.

The role:

• Develop and maintain internal web properties (front-end and back-end).
• Create visually engaging designs for internal marketing and communications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the group to deliver consistent, high-quality creative and technical solutions.
• Balance creativity with functionality, ensuring designs not only look great but work seamlessly.

What they’re looking for:

• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (and ideally some back-end experience).
• Solid design skills across digital and graphic formats, with a good understanding of layout, typography, and UI/UX.
• Someone who enjoys collaborating with internal teams and bringing ideas to life.
• A sharp eye for detail and a passion for digital storytelling.

This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role within a business that values creativity, innovation, and internal culture. It would suit someone coming from an agency or in-house design/development background who’s keen to have real influence over how digital tools and visual communication evolve.
