Job description
We’re looking for an Analog IC Lead to join our rapidly growing start-up client in Oxford. In this pivotal, collaborative position, you’ll help define and steer the architecture of analog building blocks that power a next-generation computing platform.
As the Analog IC Lead you will:
- Define and own the analog building block architecture, ensuring alignment with system requirements and long-term scalability
- Work closely with the internal engineering team, bridging system-level requirements with IC implementation
- Collaborate with and guide an external design house, ensuring quality and consistency of analog block development
- Provide technical insight across analog design, architecture trade-offs, and potential challenges
We’re looking for someone who thrives at the intersection of deep technical expertise and high-level architectural thinking. You should be able to see the bigger picture while still understanding the fine details that make analog ICs work at scale.
You will bring:
- A strong background in Analog IC design with proven experience in defining or leading IC/SoC building block architecture
- Deep knowledge of analog and mixed-signal circuit design
- Experience collaborating with key stakeholders and/or third-party design partners or design houses
- A strategic mindset with the ability to balance immediate technical challenges with long-term system vision
