We are partnering with a global leader in the construction services and equipment industry to recruit a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative for export markets. This strategic role is focused on driving market expansion and revenue growth across key territories in Africa. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a proven track record in B2B sales, dealer network development, and a deep understanding of the formwork, scaffolding, and access solutions landscape within the African market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of formwork, scaffolding, and access solutions within assigned export markets across Africa.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local dealers, distributors, and key end-user customers (e.g., major construction firms, EPC contractors).
  • Identify new business opportunities and market potential in emerging sectors such as oil & gas, mining, and infrastructure.
  • Conduct market analysis and monitor the competitive landscape, regulatory environment, and economic trends across African markets.
  • Prepare quotations, lead negotiations, and close deals.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events across the region.
  • Collaborate closely with internal engineering, product support, and logistics teams to ensure project execution and customer satisfaction.


Qualifications & Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of proven international sales experience, with a strong preference for candidates who have directly sold into African markets.
  • Experience in the construction, formwork, scaffolding, industrial equipment, or related sectors.
  • A demonstrated ability to develop new business and an existing network of contacts within the African construction or industrial sectors is highly desirable.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles in a B2B environment.
  • Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in French or Portuguese is a significant advantage given the linguistic diversity of the continent.
  • Willingness and ability to undertake travel
  • A valid driver’s license, cultural sensitivity, and a proven ability to work effectively across diverse business environments.
