Job Description
Join us and help shape the future of a fast-growing, global business. We believe boring is bad for business. Our in-house creative team is passionate about striking, original design that captures attention, sparks curiosity, and keeps people talking. Remember that video that stayed with you long after watching? That’s exactly what we aim to create — honest, compelling stories that surprise and stick.
As our Videographer, you’ll lead video projects from concept to final cut, working closely with marketing, brand, and various internal teams. Whether you’re behind the camera, at the edit desk or bringing some fresh ideas in motion design, you thrive on creative challenges and finding new ways to tell stories. This is a hands-on role covering everything from shooting and editing to pitching fresh ideas.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver a variety of shoots — interviews, events, product demos, b-roll — with a balance of creativity and practicality.
- Confidently operate camera, lighting, and audio gear, and troubleshoot on the fly when needed.
- Edit footage into compelling, well-paced stories with smart use of motion elements (titles, transitions, basic animation).
- Deliver final content optimised for web, social, and internal platforms.
- Ask the right questions to refine briefs and get to the core of what’s needed.
- Create shot lists or simple scripts, present edits to stakeholders, and iterate based on feedback with creative input.
- Experiment with different formats (short-form, vertical, interactive) and contribute ideas to help improve workflow.
- Help shape and evolve our video style across a global business — from quick-turnaround social clips to polished internal comms.
- Enjoy regular collaboration with experienced creative leads, plus opportunities to grow your skill set (e.g., interactive video).
- Benefit from a hybrid setup: collaborative office days and focused remote editing time. Includes generous holiday, pension, and wellbeing support.
Your Craft
- Strong camera operation and a solid grasp of lighting and sound capture techniques.
- Skilled in nonlinear editing tools such as DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, or Final Cut.
- Capable of applying straightforward motion graphics and knowing when to call in additional support.
- Sharp eye for pacing, composition, colour, and audio quality.
- Curious and insightful — you dig into briefs to uncover the real story and tailor your approach accordingly.
- Confident, jargon-free communicator — equally comfortable with colleagues, stakeholders, or clients.
- Highly organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple projects without missing details.
Note: A portfolio of relevant work is essential and will be reviewed as part of the interview process.
Experience Required
- 4+ years in a Midweight or Senior Videographer role or similar.
- Hands-on experience with film, lighting, and sound equipment.
- Confident presenting to clients and senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable contributing to meetings and workshops, and not afraid to challenge a brief to get to the best solution.
- Strong communicator and collaborator — approachable, proactive, and people-savvy.
- Able to stay calm under pressure and adapt to changing priorities and timelines.
