Are you a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in local primary schools? Milk Education is working in partnership with several forward-thinking schools across the south Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens area, offering an exciting opportunity for graduates to build a rewarding pathway into teaching or educational support.

The Role

As a Graduate Classroom Assistant, you’ll have the chance to gain experience across a variety of roles, tailored to your strengths and career goals, including:

• SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) – supporting students with additional learning needs, ensuring they receive the right provision to succeed
• General Classroom Support – assisting teachers, working with small groups, and helping to create a positive learning environment

This role is perfect for anyone considering a future career in teaching (such as PGCE or Schools Direct) or those wanting to develop their skills in education.

What We’re Looking For

• A recent graduate (any subject considered)
• Confident, proactive, and enthusiastic
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A passion for working with young people
• Adaptability and a willingness to get involved
• Experience working with children or young people is helpful but not essential
• A driver is desirable due to travel between partner schools
