Year 2 Teaching Assistant – Liverpool

Milk Education is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly Primary School in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a child’s early learning journey while enjoying flexible hours that work around you.

You’ll be joining a supportive school community and working alongside an experienced team. Your primary role will be providing 1:1 support for a Year 2 pupil with ASD, helping them progress both academically and socially within the classroom.

Your Main Duties:

• Support the inclusion and wellbeing of all pupils in the classroom.
• Provide 1:1 support for a Year 2 pupil with ASD.
• Assist the class teacher with lessons, planning, and activities.
• Run fun, engaging catch-up or small-group sessions as needed.
• Help create a warm, positive, and nurturing learning environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting, ideally with SEN experience.
• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB, or similar) — or strong relevant experience.
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
• A team player who can work effectively with the class teacher and wider school staff.
