Job Title: Junior Account Handler

Location: Wellingborough (Office-based initially; hybrid after probation)

Salary: £29,000–£35,000 DOE

Role Summary:

Joining a supportive team at a time of strategic growth, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a processing and service-focused environment. You’ll handle a mix of admin tasks and client servicing from mid-term adjustments to renewals and invoicing, with exposure to motor trade, haulage, construction, and liability risks depending on your experience. Full training is provided for motivated candidates with strong customer service skills and a desire to grow into senior handler or Account Executive roles.


Key Responsibilities:

• Handle renewals, mid-term adjustments, cancellations, and invoicing

• Deliver seamless service across varied client portfolios

• Support Account Executives on day-to-day admin and documentation, deliver an exceptional client journey

• Compare coverages and policy wording, protect client interests through attention to detail

• Chase documents, process payments, and set up finance; ensure policies are accurate and up to date

• Act as a trusted main point of contact for customer relationship, answer inbound queries and manage 30–40 renewals a month

• Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams


Requirements:

• Strong customer service background with a proactive, team-first mindset

• A pro-active and collaborative attitude

• Excellent organisation, attention-to-detail, communication and problem-solving skills

• Willingness to learn and progress with development into senior handler roles encouraged

• Experience in insurance (broking, claims, or underwriting) is helpful but not essential
