Junior Buyer – Sheffield – £28,000 - £30,000

Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be partnering with a globally recognised manufacturer in Sheffield who are looking to recruit a Junior Buyer to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

Hours - 37 hours (4.5 days per week) Mon-Thurs (7.30am to 4pm) and Friday (7.30am - 12.30pm)

Duties:

• Purchase goods and services across both indirect and direct categories
• Manage end-to-end procurement processes including sourcing, supplier selection, negotiation, ordering, contracting and performance management
• Act as a Change Champion, promoting adoption of new processes, systems and engineering change procedures across the organisation
• Identify, assess, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, reliability and adherence to specifications
• Analyse supplier proposals and negotiate pricing and delivery terms to secure best value for the organisation
• Monitor supplier performance and order progress to ensure timely delivery and maintain consistent quality standards

Required skills & experience:

• Strong communication skills
• Previous experience within a supply chain/procurement role
• Strong IT skills
