Job description
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, hard-working Operations Coordinator, who has experience Coordinating an Operation.
Duties:
- FCL & LCL Ocean Imports
- Strong Ocean import knowledge.
- Complete customs entries end to end.
- Arrange collections from suppliers and monitor to arrival port/customer door (depending on terms).
- Complete all functions of the shipment process as instructed by customers and management.
- Reply to all customer requests immediately and in accordance with our Minimum Service Standards.
- Provide world class customer service and follow our service standards and communications guidelines to maximize customer satisfaction. You’ll be given full training on in-house computer system including communication internal and external.
- Understand Minimum Service Standards.
- Flexibility at times may be required due to volumes.
Skills and experience:
- Resilient and strives to achieve the best results through determination, energy, and commitment.
- Knowledge of the freight industry
- Strong administration skills and IT proficiency (full training on systems will be given)
- Strong communication skills
- Good time management
