Project QSHE Advisor – Dalkia Scotland
Location: Dalry, Scotland
Employment: Contract - full-time
About the Role
Dalkia Scotland is seeking an experienced Project QSHE Advisor to support our projects and uphold the highest standards in Quality, Safety, Health & Environment (QSHE). You will champion a positive QSHE culture, providing guidance, advice, and solutions to ensure safe, compliant, and high-performing project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise project management on QSHE best practices, hazard identification, and risk mitigation.
- Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of QSHE procedures, including risk assessments and PTWs.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, recommending preventive measures.
- Monitor, report, and improve operational QSHE performance.
- Identify and deliver QSHE training, inductions, and toolbox talks.
- Maintain up-to-date QSHE systems and ensure compliance with legislation.
- Flexibility to cover project shift patterns, including weekends.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- Experienced QSHE professional with CSCS card.
- NEBOSH National Certificate or equivalent.
- Strong technical knowledge of Health & Safety and HSEQ management systems.
- Understanding of UK HSEQ legislation.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Desirable:
- IOSH/CMIOSH qualifications.
- Experience in training design and delivery.
- Quality and Environment management experience.
