Creative Technologist | Award-Winning Creative Studio | Manchester (Hybrid) | Salary: £55K–£65K + benefits

Our client, a renowned creative production and VFX studio, is looking for a Creative Technologist to join their innovative team. This is a unique opportunity to bridge creativity and technology, working at the forefront of visual effects and production technology.

The Role:

As Creative Technologist, you will collaborate with creative and production teams to develop pioneering solutions, implement new workflows, and lead R&D initiatives across VFX, AI, real-time rendering, and automation. You’ll play a key role in embedding emerging technologies into live production environments and driving technical innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement innovative VFX and production workflows and tools
• Lead R&D and prototyping initiatives across AI, real-time rendering, and automation
• Collaborate with directors, artists, and engineers to deliver creative solutions
• Stay ahead of trends in VFX, immersive media, and AI-assisted creative tools
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to enhance team performance

About You:

• Proven experience in VFX, creative technology, or technical production roles
• Strong technical skills with tools such as Nuke, After Effects, Houdini, Unreal Engine, Blender, or Adobe Creative Suite
• Scripting or programming skills (Python, JavaScript) highly desirable
• Passion for innovation and emerging technologies in creative production
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
