Quantity Surveyor

Freelance or Permanent

M&E / Comms Contractor

Freelance - £350 - £450 per day

London / Hertfordshire

We are partnered with a busy M&E and Telecoms contractor, who have work confirmed until the end of 2026 with more work to be announced, who are looking for a self-sufficient Project Quantity Surveyor to join their team in the London/Hertfordshire region.

This contractor act as both a tier 1 & tier 2 contractor with large projects with the likes of Costain and Skanska and are involved in projects up to £15m.

We are looking for a Project Quantity Surveyor who is comfortable managing their own projects of £5m+ to join their team on a long-term basis, and this role is open to both freelance or permanent candidates.

We are open to contract experience whether that be JCT, NEC or NR forms of contract as long as the candidate has the right commercial acumen and attitude towards areas of learning and development, however M&E experience is extremely desirable so you can hit the ground running on live M&E projects.

This role will suit a QS who can use their own initiative and is comfortable working under own supervision. It will also suit a QS with experience working on cost-reimbursable contracts, although that is not essential.

This is a superb opportunity to join a busy and established contractor on a long-term basis.
