Financial Controller/Head of Financial Control


Insurance Sector - **Must have this sector experience.


Surrey based (flexible hybrid working)


FTC or Permanent considered (need to start at the beginning of December)


£100,000/£120,000 + Bonus + Benefits


We’re looking for an experienced Financial Controller/Head of Financial Control to lead the financial control team within this growing market leading insurance business. You’ll ensure accurate reporting, strong controls, and provide strategic financial insight to support senior leadership.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee month-end and year-end close accounts, and audits
  • Ensure compliance with UK GAAP / IFRS / Solvency II.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow and internal controls
  • Lead and develop the finance team, driving process improvement and automation
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to deliver financial insight and business support


About You

  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with insurance sector experience
  • Strong technical accounting, Solvency II, and regulatory knowledge
  • Confident communicator and team leader
  • Hands-on, proactive
