Internal Auditor (part qualified) - Infrastructure in London Area

Audit and Risk Recruitment are delighted to be working with a rapidly growing infrastructure business operating in the UK and Ireland.

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Internal Auditor to join a growing Group Assurance team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking environment where you’ll play a key role in enhancing the organisation’s internal controls and risk management processes.

In this role, you’ll be involved in a wide variety of financial and operational audits, working from initial planning through to final reporting. You’ll assess the effectiveness of internal controls, identify areas for improvement, and deliver high-quality, insightful audit reports. You’ll also support broader assurance activities, such as fraud investigations and process improvement initiatives, while contributing to the ongoing development of our audit strategy.

We’re looking for someone with a good understanding of audit standards and some hands-on experience conducting audits, including risk assessments and fieldwork. Strong project management and analytical skills are essential, along with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with stakeholders at all levels. Experience with data analysis and visualisation tools is a bonus.

You should be naturally curious, eager to learn about the business, and able to challenge constructively and objectively. Integrity, innovation, and a proactive mindset are key qualities we value.

The team works on a hybrid model based out of their Head Office in Stevenage, with some travel to other UK sites will be required.
