Responsibilities


About the Team & Business Line:

Fund Administration is Citco’s core business, and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industry’s most respected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.

As a core member of our Client Service team team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.

Your Role:

Client Service & Relationship Management

  • Oversee client service delivery and monitor service provision to agreed standards for key clients
  • Formulate and implement key client service programs
  • Visit clients periodically to evaluate service quality and identify priorities
  • Operate as primary contact point for clients, responding to queries and escalating when necessary
  • Manage escalations and complaints within the team and department
  • Monitor compliance with various client agreements, including Service Level Agreements
  • Act as liaison with internal/external parties including auditors, legal counsel, and property management companies

Financial Operations & Accounting

  • Deliver Fund accounting and analysis services
  • Manage limited partner and general partner allocations
  • Review real estate fund client's partnership agreements, PPMs and other materials
  • Participate in and lead implementation of fund structures onto accounting systems
  • Assist in client audit procedures and prepare complex Excel spreadsheets

Team Leadership & Development

  • Manage, train, and assist assigned Senior Account Managers in running their teams
  • Train and support team members in their development
  • Participate in review of procedures and policies and supervise VPs to ensure adherence
  • Liaise internally with operational areas to ensure awareness of key client requirements

Issue Resolution & Analysis

  • Assist in resolution of complex client issues
  • Interact with Management and Clients on various matters
  • Prepare and analyze complex financial data and reporting


Qualifications


About You:

Educational & Professional Qualifications

  • Degree in Business, Finance, or related field
  • Professional accounting designation (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) or actively pursuing qualification
  • 10+ years of public/private real estate accounting experience

Technical Knowledge & Skills

  • Experience in reviewing and preparing general ledgers and financial statements
  • Knowledge of IFRS and GAAP
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, competent in MS Word and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of industry software (MRI, Yardi, or Investran) preferred

Specialized Experience (Advantageous)

  • Limited Partnership accounting experience
  • Private equity/real estate fund administration background
  • Understanding of tax-efficient European structures, investment vehicles, and regulatory requirements

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and supervisory experience
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Sound judgment and decision-making capabilities
