Quality Assurance Specialist in England

Insignis Talent is looking for an Quality Assurance Specialist in England

Job description

If the idea of shaping quality across some of the most demanding subsea projects in the offshore energy sector excites you, this role will capture your attention. The company is known for supporting complex offshore operations, ROV services, and subsea intervention projects delivered in environments where precision and reliability are non-negotiable. Quality is not a department here; it is the backbone of everything they do.

You will join a team that works across a broad international footprint, supporting operations that span subsea engineering, specialist diving, vessel-based activity and remote intervention. The work is varied, technically challenging and constantly evolving. This is your opportunity to be the person who ensures every project, every process and every partner meets the standard expected from a leading offshore and subsea services provider.

What You Will Do

You will be the authority behind the organisation’s quality performance. Your day may involve diving into the root cause of an operational non-conformance, leading an investigation into an undesirable event, or guiding engineers through integrating best-practice processes into active projects.

You will take ownership of internal audits, supplier audits and the management of corrective and preventative actions across the business. Your ability to interpret industry standards such as IMCA or IRATA, and apply ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 with confidence, will elevate the organisation’s performance and help shape the strategic direction of quality across the division.

You will track lessons learned, work closely with project teams, collaborate with stakeholders when formal complaints arise, and maintain the integrity of the company’s Integrated Management System. Data analysis and trend identification will be a key aspect of your contribution to senior leadership, helping ensure continuous improvement is more than a statement on a poster.

What You Bring

• Experience within the offshore energy sector

• Ideally, exposure to subsea operations or projects

• Strong knowledge of ISO standards and industry compliance expectations

• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification

• A structured, investigative mindset

• The ability to partner effectively across operational, technical and commercial teams

• A commitment to building a culture where quality is understood, valued and consistently delivered

Incident investigation training is desirable, but a passion for driving high performance across complex environments is essential.

Why This Role Matters

In an industry where operations take place on the seabed, offshore installations and high-risk environments, quality is safety, reputation and commercial success. Your work directly supports safe operations, robust project delivery and the confidence of clients who rely on the company to perform without compromise.

If you want to see the direct impact of your work, influence large-scale offshore projects and play a leading role in strengthening quality culture from supplier to subsea execution, this role offers challenge, purpose and genuine career scope.
