The Opportunity

We are working exclusively with Mandale Group, an award-winning house builder (UK Property Awards), to recruit a Supply Chain & Procurement Manager. This is a key role within their head office team, responsible for managing procurement strategy, supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective, timely delivery of materials and services across a diverse portfolio of projects nationwide.

Mandale’s portfolio is predominantly residential, but also spans multiple sectors, including:

• Commercial
• Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA)
• Light Industrial
• Food & Beverage
• Retail

Historically, Mandale has funded projects using its own capital, but is now expanding by incorporating third-party investment, creating exciting growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project and business objectives across multiple regions.
• Manage supplier selection, negotiation, and performance monitoring.
• Ensure cost control and value engineering across all procurement activities.
• Oversee material scheduling and delivery to meet project timelines.
• Maintain compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.

Ideal Candidate

• Background: Experience in supply chain, procurement, or commercial management within construction or contracting environments.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Commercially astute with a focus on cost efficiency and quality.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficient in procurement systems and reporting tools.
