What You’ll Do


As a System Integrator, you will act as a technical and change coordinator responsible for managing configuration activities and ensuring effective integration of multi-disciplinary design inputs. Systems Team is responsible for the design of the waste treatment systems, and your role will be central to maintaining design, stability, and consistency across interfaces whilst driving progress, and facilitate coordination between engineering disciplines, suppliers, and project stakeholders, ensuring technical issues are resolved and configuration baselines are maintained in line with project milestones.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the technical and change coordinator for configuration activities within the Systems Team, ensuring alignment with project milestones and technical priorities.
  • Define and cascade priorities based on equipment contract deadlines, site progress, and commissioning needs.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to system engineers and technical leads, proactively resolving multi-disciplinary issues.
  • Facilitate coordination across interfacing disciplines (layout, civil, contracts, nuclear safety, hazards, electrical, I&C, environment, commissioning, etc.).
  • Monitor progress of configuration activities, identify blockers, and escalate issues to relevant stakeholders.
  • Organise and support participation in technical committees and project governance meetings.
  • Promote design stability by challenging the rationale for modifications before initiating design changes.
  • Ensure completeness, consistency, and quality of all impacts prior to integrating design changes.
  • Oversee timely updates to configuration attributes and specification databases, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
  • Track and oversee system design maturity, ensuring alignment with engineering requirements and project expectations.


Who You Are

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Systems Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working in highly regulated environments ideally nuclear, energy, or large-scale infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of system integration, design interfaces, configuration management, and multi-disciplinary coordination.
  • Ability to navigate complex technical issues in collaboration with multiple engineering teams.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proactive and comfortable working with evolving designs and complex change processes.
