MacGregor Black is partnering with a Global Leader in the Housewares Industry, on the search for a Creative Lead. This is a permanent role based in Liverpool.


As Creative Lead, you will report to the Head of Marketing and play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the creative vision. You will guide the creative team, manage the end-to-end delivery of projects, and ensure brand consistency and innovation across all marketing and communication touchpoints.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the development and execution of creative concepts, including storyboarding and visual planning, to bring marketing briefs to life with clarity and impact.
  • Provide hands-on creative direction throughout the production process, ensuring consistency and quality from pre-production to final delivery.
  • Drive the adoption of new creative technologies and tools, including AI-powered solutions, to elevate content creation and improve efficiency.
  • Manage creative projects from initial brief through to delivery, meeting deadlines, budget constraints, and quality standards.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and translate them into effective creative outputs.
  • Ensure all content aligns with the brand guidelines and maintains a consistent voice and visual identity.
  • Mentor and guide the creative team, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing environment.
  • Oversee quality assurance for all creative outputs, ensuring excellence in design, messaging, and brand alignment.
  • Manage the creative budget to ensure optimal resource allocation and cost efficiency.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging techniques, and platform innovations to keep the content fresh and competitive.
  • Support cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, sales, and eCommerce, to deliver integrated and effective creative solutions.


What We’re Looking For:


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a creative role, with proven experience leading and managing creative projects and teams.
  • Strong conceptual and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to articulate and execute compelling ideas.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
  • Familiarity with emerging creative technologies and AI tools highly desirable.
  • Experience in photography and video editing, including retouching and post-production work.
  • Strong understanding of preparing artwork for both digital and print platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience managing brand guidelines and ensuring alignment across all touchpoints.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across teams and with external partners.
  • Decision-making and authority exercised with good judgment, recognising when to involve others and escalate key issues.
  • Shows initiative in developing and maintaining the skills and knowledge needed to perform at a high level.
