Financial Accountant in Loughton

Global Accounting Network are partnered exclusively with a successful and growing privately owned business to recruit for an experienced Financial Accountant to join their team on a 15-month fixed term contract.

This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team in a varied role. This role is ideally based in the office 5 days a week, which will allow you to work closely with experienced accountants and give exposure to the wider finance function.

Duties in this Financial Accountant role will include:

• Support with month end duties such as cash allocation,
• Ledger updates,
• Bank reconciliations
• Run and issue invoicing stats
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Accruals and prepayments
• Cash flow forecasting

Payroll duties include:

• Process overtime, advances and travel loans
• Process new tax codes and new student loans
• Liaise with HR to process starters/leaver and changes
• Compiling monthly payroll reports

The ideal candidate will be a part-qualified accountant or qualified by experience, will have month end and extensive payroll experience and be happy to work as part of a close knit team, supporting with broader duties as required.
