HR Advisor - Permanent
Moodiesburn, North Lanarkshire
Hybrid - 4 days on site/ 1 day from home
Looking for a varied HR Advisor role within a friendly, close knit manufacturing environment?
This is a great opportunity to join a long-established global manufacturer at their major Scottish site, working in a warm, down-to-earth environment where visibility and connection really matter.
You will be part of a small HR team that is genuinely supportive, practical and collaborative, with the chance to contribute to everyday HR activity as well as upcoming systems and process improvements.
What you will be doing
• Day to day HR generalist support across absence, performance and employee relations
• Coaching and guiding managers on policies, procedures and people practice
• Maintaining accurate HR data and producing reports using Excel
• Supporting recruitment and onboarding, mainly for operational and technical teams
• Helping coordinate HR documentation, templates and handbook updates
• Getting involved in wellbeing, engagement and community activities on site
• Contributing to planning and readiness for a new HRIS implementation
• Working closely with the HR Coordinator, supporting their development and capability

What you will bring
• HR Advisor or strong generalist experience with confidence in ER and absence
• Comfortable working with both blue collar and white collar teams
• Strong Excel ability and a tidy, accurate approach to data
• Experience in manufacturing or similar operational environments is highly desirable
• Supportive communication style, approachable on-site and able to build trust
• Interest in wellbeing, engagement and HR development work
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a small team
• Union exposure or experience working in unionised settings is desirable
