We currently have a vacancy for a Customer Services Administrator to join our Education Transport Team.
Our Education Transport Team are responsible for procuring School Services throughout West Yorkshire on behalf of all five district councils. They also provide zero-fared home-to-school travel passes for statutory pupils under the guidance of three of the district councils home to school transport policy, alongside issuing fare payable passes to non-statutory pupils on school services.

The Role
Reporting to the Customer Services and Eligibility Team Leader, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing the first point of contact for customers.
- Using databases to process bus pass applications and book primary schoolchildren on and off Mybus primary services.
- Providing general administrative support to the Education Transport team.
About You
You will have the following key skills, attributes, education and experience:
- Educated to GCSE level in English and Maths or equivalent relevant education/ experience.
- Experience of working within a busy contact centre or other customer facing environment.
- Knowledge/experience of using Windows-based systems and bespoke service-based software packages.
- Ability to create and update Excel spreadsheets including basic formulas.
- Able to deal with customers in a sympathetic and understanding manner.
