Tax Advisory Partnership is looking for an US/UK Tax Preparer in London

We are seeking a motivated and skilled US/UK Dual Handling Tax Preparer to join our growing US team. We are looking for a semi or qualified ATT/EA with at least 2 years practice experience, to join our London team based in Devonshire Square. Full details below but the successful candidate will be required to oversee the preparation of both UK and US personal tax returns, tax calculations and prepare notes for Manager/Assistant Manager review.


Alongside your tax compliance work, you will also have the opportunity to work on wide-ranging tax advisory assignments. Our clients are high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals, with a US and UK element to their tax affairs.


You will have either completed or be part way through your ATT or Enrolled Agent qualifications, and have at least 2 years experience of working in a busy tax team. Full on the job training will be given as required and we would also be happy to assist in terms of funding and support, towards the completion of further professional qualifications.


The role is full time, working 2 days each week from our offices in Devonshire Square in London with the remainder working from home.

 

Who We're Looking For:

· 2+ years of experience of preparing both UK and US complex personal tax returns.

· ATT/EA semi or qualified.

· Some experience of preparing advisory work

· Strong analytical and logical skills with a passion for problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

· Preparation of both UK and US personal tax return forms, together with notes and computations for review.

· Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines.

· Self-review of work to ensure all aspects covered ahead of review.

· Identify technical areas to be researched and do this independently or seek input from Managers/Partners before engaging in discussion.

· Monitor budgets and inform management on a timely basis if an over run is anticipated.

· Complete a detailed timesheet on a daily basis and highlight work performed that is outside of fixed fee compliance work.

· Proactive approach to widening your tax knowledge.
