We are a successful business with over 125 years of experience of serving local communities and offering financial support to people in times of need across the UK. To support our recent rapid growth, we are looking for a Product Photographer to join us at our Jewellery Centre in Rochester, Kent.

Job Title: Product Photographer

Job Type: Full Time - 37.5 Hours

Salary: £25,900.

Location: Rochester

Job Purpose

Photograph jewellery and watches, capturing visually appealing and high-resolution images of products that highlight their features, design, and functionality, providing images for use in various marketing materials such as websites, social media, catalogues, brochures, and advertisements. Utilise specialist digital systems designed for consistent output for key stakeholders, ensuring that product images align with H&T's visual identity and style guidelines, and are processed efficiently within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for high quality photography of jewellery, watches and bullion assets for publication online, via store marketing material, and any other forms of company media
  • Utilise image editing tools, such as Photoshop, to edit images, maintaining H&Ts internal and external visual brand guidelines
  • Working closely with marketing, design, sales teams, and other key stakeholders, understand the product's unique selling points and how best to visually communicate them
  • Maintain audit logs of all photographed stock
  • Ensure output is consistent and delivered in a timely manner
  • Ad-hoc bespoke photography/videography where required, including Lifestyle and model shots
  • Keep up with the latest photography trends, techniques, and equipment for continues improvement and personal growth

Essential Requirements

  • Keen eye for detail in imagery with an understanding on how to exhibit products to their fullest
  • Competent with both PC or MAC
  • Microsoft Office knowledge, preferably Google Sheets or Excel
  • Keen passion for photography (full training will be provided on our autonomous systems)

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience with jewellery or watch photography for online platforms
  • Photoshop experience
  • Orbitvu experience
