Owen Reed is looking for a Legal PA for a top law firm in Nottingham.


We are recruiting an experienced and proactive Legal PA to join a leading law firm’s Practice Group Support team in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and organised PA who enjoys taking ownership, supporting senior stakeholders and delivering exceptional client service.

The Role

As a Legal PA, you will provide professional, confidential and forward-thinking support to a group of senior stakeholders. You’ll manage busy diaries, inboxes, meetings, travel and workflow, acting as a reliable point of contact for both internal and external clients.

You’ll take full ownership of tasks, delegate effectively to support teams and ensure everything runs smoothly, on time and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and hold regular 1:1 catch-ups.
  • Manage inboxes, diaries, travel arrangements and meeting coordination.
  • Act as the main liaison for clients, drafting clear and professional correspondence.
  • Support wider PA team and provide cover during absences.
  • Own end-to-end workflow, delegating to billing, finance, TA and document production.
  • Handle urgent document work; coordinate with the Document Production team for larger tasks.
  • Manage client/matter opening, electronic filing and records management.
  • Assist with financial administration, compliance and billing processes.
  • Prepare presentations, pitches, agendas and event materials.
  • Support business development and marketing initiatives.
  • Use firm technology confidently, including Outlook, Teams and Copilot.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous Legal PA or senior administrative experience in a professional environment.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proactive, problem-solving and able to anticipate needs.
  • Confident managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Discreet, professional and reliable under pressure.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Teams, Copilot).
  • Flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Supportive team player with a positive attitude.
