Production Accountant | Theatre Scale Up | London | £40,000–£50,000

Harmonic is delighted to be working with one of the UK’s most exciting live entertainment companies in their search for a Production Accountant.

The Business

They are a leading international live entertainment and theatrical production company, producing large-scale touring shows and musicals that reach audiences across the UK and globally. With a headcount of c.200 employees and turnover in excess of £50m, they are a fast-growing, dynamic business that has successfully combined creative excellence with commercial scale.

The finance function is a close-knit team of 6, led by a highly supportive Finance Director with a passion for professional development. The culture is collaborative, down-to-earth and lively — reflective of the creative industry they operate in.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified or newly qualified accountant looking to build their career in a creative, high-growth environment. Working closely with the Production Finance Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing the financials across multiple productions, supporting producers and the wider commercial team.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing production budgets, forecasts and cashflows
• Monitoring actual vs budget performance and investigating variances
• Overseeing cost reporting for live shows and tours
• Business partnering with producers and production teams to provide financial insight
• Assisting with month-end close and management reporting
• Supporting the Finance Director and Production Finance Manager with ad-hoc analysis

What We’re Looking For

• Part-qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) or QBE
• Prior experience in a media, entertainment or creative business
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
• Excellent communicator, able to translate financial information for non-finance colleagues
• A genuine interest in live events, theatre or the creative industries

Salary

• £40,000 – £50,000

Location: Central London / Hybrid (2 days WFH).
