About The Role

As Administrator (Digital Assessment), you'll play a key role in the efficient and accurate production of assessment materials. You'll be responsible for typesetting content and authoring it into our digital assessment platform, Surpass, ensuring clarity, consistency and adherence to house style.

Working within the Cambridge OCR Assessment Materials and Logistics team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with assessment specialists to resolve queries
  • Conducting quality checks and maintaining version control
  • Supporting continuous improvement of processes and systems

About You

You're someone who takes pride in precision and enjoys making a real impact behind the scenes. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where your attention to detail and problem-solving skills help ensure the smooth delivery of high-quality assessment materials.

This role is perfect for someone who:

  • Loves working with structure and clarity – you'll be typesetting and formatting content that reaches thousands of learners, so your eye for detail really matters.
  • Enjoys digital tools and platforms – whether you've used Surpass or similar systems before, or you're keen to learn, you'll be working at the heart of our digital assessment transformation.
  • Is a natural organiser – juggling deadlines, managing versions, and keeping everything on track is second nature to you.
  • Thrives on collaboration – you'll work closely with assessment specialists and other teams, helping to resolve queries and ensure content is accurate and approved for publication.
  • Has a creative eye for layout and presentation - with the ability to suggest and provide alternatives to format and design.

If you're looking for a role where your skills will be valued, your ideas welcomed, and your work will make a difference to learners across the world, we'd love to hear from you.
