MacGregor Black are partnering with a rapidly growing consumer products brand on the search for a Head of Strategic Accounts. This is a permanent role with international scope.
As Head of Strategic Accounts, you will serve as the commercial partner to the Commercial Director, playing a pivotal role in shaping and executing the global strategic account agenda. You will be responsible for elevating account performance, embedding consistent ways of working, and ensuring best-in-class delivery across major retail partners and distributors worldwide.
This role requires a strategic, relationship-led operator capable of translating commercial vision into account frameworks and customer strategies that support scalable, sustainable growth. You will create clarity, strengthen collaboration, and drive operational excellence across the organisation while championing world-class execution for key customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement a global strategic account framework that delivers consistency, alignment, and commercial excellence across all markets.
- Lead the strategic planning and performance management of major global retail and distribution partners.
- Drive customer-centric ways of working, ensuring best-practice sales processes, joint business planning, and retail execution.
- Establish key account KPIs, reporting cadence, and performance dashboards to track and enhance customer performance.
- Partner cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution of customer strategies.
- Develop and deliver tools, training, and capability-building programs to elevate the performance of account management teams globally.
- Support new market expansion and commercial initiatives, ensuring strategic accounts are positioned for success.
- Act as the key conduit between global strategic accounts and the wider business, ensuring customer insights inform decision-making.
- Champion a culture of commercial excellence, continuous improvement, and accountability across all account-facing teams.
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years proven experience in senior key account leadership, strategic account management, or commercial excellence roles within an international consumer goods environment.
- Experience working within sporting goods industries preferred
- Deep understanding of global retail landscapes, customer dynamics, and strategic account management best practices.
- Strong strategic, analytical, and project management skills.
- Confident influencing ability at senior level, with a collaborative leadership style that builds trust and credibility.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for commercial performance and delivering consistent, high-quality customer experiences.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative, and growth-focused environment.
