H&S Supervisor – Onsite (Port of Nigg, Scotland)
Location: Port of Nigg, Scotland
Job Type: Full-time, Onsite
Europlan Group is a leading international engineering and project services company, delivering innovative, safety-driven solutions to the energy and industrial sectors.
This prestigious project will see the construction of a subsea power cable manufacturing factory in the Port of Nigg in the Scottish Highlands with Japanese multinational company Sumitomo Electric. The project will support the delivery of critical infrastructure to help build resilient supply chains for the offshore wind and renewable energy sectors.

The Role
As H&S Supervisor you’ll be the focal point for all Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental activities onsite.
You will work closely with the Project Manager, Construction Managers, and client teams to ensure compliance, drive safety culture, and safeguard everyone involved in the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all project HSSE activities and ensure alignment with Europlan and client standards.
- Liaise with client representatives and attend key project meetings.
- Drive a proactive safety culture, empowering staff to stop unsafe work.
- Conduct site inspections and support Permit to Work (PTW) processes.
- Lead incident investigations, track findings, and implement corrective actions.
- Deliver HSSE inductions and training as required.
- Monitor and report on HSSE performance against KPIs.
- Support risk assessments and review method statements.
What We’re Looking For
- NEBOSH Certificate or S/NVQ Level 3 (minimum).
- Environmental Management training (preferred).
- Experience in construction, energy, or heavy industry sectors.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessments and HSSE systems.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with reporting and analysis experience.
