Scheduler - Patient Solutions

Location: Head Office, Ashby de la Zouch (2 days a week on-site)
Department: Patient Solutions - Client Homecare Programme
Reports to: Scheduling Manager

About the Role
We're looking for a detail-driven Scheduler to join our Patient Solutions team, supporting the delivery of safe and efficient homecare services for patients across the UK. You'll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and maintaining visit schedules - making sure patients receive the right care at the right time.
Working closely with nurses, clients, and internal teams, you'll balance operational priorities with patient needs to ensure every visit runs smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving problems while keeping quality and safety front of mind.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage daily and ongoing scheduling of patient visits from initiation to completion
* Coordinate visit windows to ensure efficient use of nurse resources
* Triaging patient calls and escalating as appropriate
* Support the Scheduling Manager and Senior Scheduler in delivering a safe, effective scheduling service
* Maintain operational excellence, even under contingency conditions
* Build strong working relationships with internal teams, clients, and NHS stakeholders
* Provide accurate reporting and updates on scheduling performance and KPIs
* Ensure compliance with company, client, and NHS procedures
* Participate in team meetings and training to stay current with programme updates

* Strong organisational and multitasking skills
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Confident communication skills (phone, email, and face-to-face)
* Experience scheduling appointments or coordinating events
* Competence in Microsoft Office applications
* Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage competing priorities
* Commitment to excellent customer service
* Eligibility to pass enhanced DBS and pre-employment medical checks
