Job description

We’ve recently launched a Shopify store and we’re looking for a volunteer with experience in Shopify or e-commerce management who can advise, guide, and support us in growing our online presence.

What difference will you make?

Your input to our charity's online presence and sales, will aid us in our mission to provide free palliative care to children and adults across South and East Europe. We are very new to the Shopify platform, so the expertise you can bring to the table will be greatly valued and will help our marketing/fundraising team to raise vital funds more effectively.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has past experience in Ecommerce and operating an online store. Specifically using Shopify as this is the platform we have chosen as our primary online sales presence, and it's integration with our website's shop and eBay page.

We are looking for someone who works well in a team, and is able to work effectively with our marketing team regarding sales and listing new items.

What will you be doing?

We’ve recently launched a Shopify store to sell charity shop treasures, gifts, and festive items online — but now we need some expert help to take it to the next level. We’re looking for a volunteer with experience in Shopify or e-commerce management who can advise, guide, and support us in growing our online presence. This might include

  • Reviewing our current Shopify setup and suggesting improvements
  • Helping us optimise our online shop for better visibility and sales
  • Advising on marketing integrations, SEO, and promotions
  • Streamlining product listings, layout, and customer journey
  • Supporting our small in-house team to manage the platform confidently

This is a flexible volunteer role — perfect for someone with ecommerce or digital marketing experience who wants to make a tangible difference for a small charity. You can be based anywhere in the UK, with time commitment to suit your availability. Your expertise could help us generate more vital income for patients and families who depend on our hospice partners’ care.
