Klöckner Pentaplast (kp) – Global Sustainable Packaging LeaderAre you a commercially minded legal professional with a passion for problem solving and supporting business teams?
We’re looking for a Legal Counsel (1–3 PQE) to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract, working in a hybrid model (typically 1–2 days/week in our London office).
This is a high-impact role where you will act as a trusted partner to the business, supporting legal initiatives across our global operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
Legal Documentation
- Prepare, review and maintain a wide range of legal documents, contracts and agreements.
- Support the full contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation, tracking and ongoing administration.
- Assist with corporate records, board materials and compliance with regulatory obligations.
- Work closely with cross-functional departments to gather information and provide clear, practical legal support.
- Organise and deliver legal training sessions to colleagues on policies, compliance and relevant legal topics.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of legal activities, agreements and documentation.
- Qualified Lawyer (1–3 PQE or equivalent)
- In-house experience is not required — we are open to candidates from private practice.
- Strong drafting, interpretation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work at pace and with minimal supervision.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to turn legal complexity into clear, user-friendly guidance.
- A collaborative mindset — team player, flexible and commercially aware.
- Enthusiasm, curiosity, and the willingness to learn.
