Job description
Our client, a world renowned manufacturing company have an urgent requirement for a permanent Workshop Assembler to join their team.
Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Assembling equipment from start to finish
- Compliance with technical and quality standards
- Conducting testing
- Completing documentation
- Contributing to continuous improvement
- Identifying and reporting faults
- Adhering to strict health and safety regulations
- Engaging in ongoing training
To be considered for this role you would need:
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical/electronic drawings
- Good manual dexterity
- Strong organisational skills
- Familiarity with structured testing and inspection protocols
- Relevant vocational qualification or completed apprenticeship in mechanical or electrical engineering
- Proven experience in mechanical or electrical assembly
- Practical use of basic electrical test equipment
