Are you an engineer or technically minded professional looking to move off the tools into a more customer-focused, office-based role? This is a fantastic opportunity to use your technical knowledge in a new way while developing your career in customer service and product support.

Hays is working with a growing manu factoring business in north Leeds who are looking to hire a Product Support & Customer Service Adviser to join their growing team. You will be the first point of contact for customers who have purchased electrical products , providing technical advice, sales support, and exceptional customer service.
Your main responsibilities will include:

• Assisting customers via phone and email with product queries and troubleshooting.
• Offering technical guidance and advice when needed.
• Supporting the sales team with product information and order processing.
• Ensuring a positive customer experience from start to finish.

Experience required

• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional approach.
• A logical, problem-solving mindset and interest in technical products.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers.
• Previous experience in a customer support or technical advisory role is an advantage.
