Finance Business Partner

Nottingham

Up to £60,000 package

Hybrid: 2 - 3 days in the office (regular expensed UK travel is required)

Gleeson are thrilled to be supporting a rapidly growing services business as they look to hire a permanent Finance Business Partner to join their expanding team. This role sits at the heart of their operational and commercial activity, providing financial insight, supporting decision-making and helping drive performance across a diverse sector portfolio.

You’ll work closely with Contract Directors and commercial teams in a fast paced, complex environment, getting under the skin of projects, understanding the numbers behind performance, and influencing outcomes through strong analysis and challenge.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activity
• Providing insightful commentary and analysis for key senior stakeholders around P&L
• Partnering with operational and commercial teams to support performance Reviewing monthly results, project spend and revenue recognition in partnership with commercial teams, ensuring strong financial governance
• Supporting working capital, WIP reviews and balance sheet integrity
• Involvement in pricing, bids, tenders and business cases

What we’re looking for:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) is preferred, or exceptional QBE
• Strong FP&A, finance business partnering or commercial finance background
• Energy, utilities, infrastructure or project-led sector experience is highly preferred
• Confidence partnering with senior non-finance stakeholders is essential
• Solid Excel and ERP skills; experience with large datasets and manual systems processes
