We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the efficient operations of our warehouse facilities in our sortation team to join our fast-paced distribution operation.

In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day activities of the sortation area, ensuring accurate, efficient, and safe movement of goods through our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and support a team of warehouse operatives within the sortation department
• Organise daily work schedules and ensure targets for throughput, accuracy, and productivity are consistently met
• Monitor sortation equipment, promptly addressing issues or reporting defects
• Ensure all goods are sorted correctly and moved to the correct loading or storage areas
• Maintain high standards of health & safety, ensuring all staff follow site procedures
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members
• Complete shift reports, maintain documentation, and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Work closely with other warehouse departments to maintain smooth end-to-end operations
• Assist with onboarding new staff and promoting a positive, collaborative working environment

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a warehouse or logistics environment ideally
• Knowledge of sortation systems and warehouse processes
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Good level of IT literacy (WMS experience is an advantage)
• Strong understanding of workplace health & safety standards
• A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving abilities
