Contract: 6-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC), with strong potential for a permanent position
Working Pattern: Full-time, Hybrid (3 days in office per week, Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm)

As a Pensions Administrator, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth management and administration of pension accounts on our flagship Fusion platform. You will rotate through key operational teams, gaining exposure to the end-to-end processes that underpin client service. Accuracy, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent client outcomes are at the heart of this role.

This 6-month FTC serves as a launchpad, with every intention to support high-performing associates into permanent employment.

What you'll do

  • Accurately process pension applications, transfers, and ongoing account administration
  • Respond to adviser and client queries, ensuring timely and professional communication
  • Maintain high standards of compliance, data integrity, and risk mitigation
  • Contribute ideas for process improvement and embrace changes in a dynamic environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet service level agreements and deliver exceptional client outcomes.

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need

Essential:
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to liaise with both internal teams and external partners
  • High attention to detail and a structured approach to complex tasks
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and constructively challenge existing processes
  • Proactive, positive attitude with a natural curiosity and eagerness to learn
  • Strong commitment to Treating Customers Fairly and putting clients first
Desirable:
  • Prior experience in pensions, platform, or financial services
  • Progress towards, or interest in, industry-recognised exams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Personal Attributes:

  • Collaborative spirit and client-oriented mindset.

The base

You'll be based at the Benchmark Head Office, within our Broadlands Business Campus near Horsham in West Sussex but will need to be present across our other offices, including the main Schroders headquarters in London. It has high standards and international reputation, without being in the city: a big, countryside campus means life will feel a little different.

We support our offices by using cutting edge software and hardware and our spacious campus facilities mean there's a great working environment for the team. With an on-site restaurant, coffee shop and gym, our campus has much to offer. And commuters can relax on our dedicated regular shuttle bus to and from Horsham’s main line train station.
