Technical Product Owner - Multi-Asset Trading & Investments

A high-growth financial technology firm is seeking a Product Owner with strong trading product expertise to drive the evolution of a multi-asset execution platform. This role suits someone who understands complex financial instruments and can lead delivery across varied engineering setups.

Role Overview

You’ll steer the roadmap for a cross-asset trading platform, defining requirements for CFDs, spread betting, sports betting, direct trading, and investment products.

You’ll partner closely with Engineering Leads to refine APIs, manage releases, structure sprints, and ensure rapid, high-quality delivery across remote, hybrid, in-house, and outsourced teams.

Clear documentation, strong prioritisation, and tight control of platform integrity will be central to your work.

What You Bring

• 3+ years as a Product Owner in a finance or trading environment
• Hands-on experience with CFD, spread betting, or investment product development
• Confident using JIRA, Confluence, Figma, Miro
• Strong understanding of API design, agile practices, and release processes
• Proven ability to collaborate directly with engineering leadership
