Role Description
As a Caseworker, you will provide expert immigration and asylum advice, manage caseloads, prepare and represent cases and ensure the highest standards of client care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advice and casework assistance in all areas of UK immigration law
- Ensure all contact with the client and any other action taken in respect of cases is recorded on attendance notes and regularly updated on the database.
- Interview and advise clients regarding Immigration/Asylum law, procedure and practice.
- Liaise with Immigration Authorities, other agencies and groups as required.
- Meet specified casework and other targets as set by Supervisor
- Stay current with immigration law developments and attend training
- Work to meet personal and team targets
- Undertake any other duties as may be reasonably required by the Management.
✅ What we’re looking for:
- Fully accredited at IAA Level 1, 2 or 3
- LLB or Law related degree or diploma
- At least 1 year of experience in immigration and asylum legal advice & representation.
- Strong communication, organisational and client care skills.
- Confident liaising with clients, authorities and stakeholders.
