About You

You’re a qualified finance professional with strong Financial Accountant experience, and you’re the type who doesn’t just keep the books in order — you look for ways to raise the bar.

The ideal candidate would be on a short notice period or immediately available to the market.

Fast-paced environments energise you. You adapt quickly, think on your feet, and naturally look for ways to streamline processes in a growing organisation.

You’re not one to sit quietly in the background — you enjoy being part of the wider team, building relationships, and becoming a trusted point of contact across the business.

Month-end and year-end cycles are well within your comfort zone, and you combine accuracy, organisation, and excellent communication in your work.

And most importantly, you want a role where your input genuinely shapes how the finance function evolves — somewhere your ideas can support a company scaling up its operations and ambitions.

What You’ll Be Doing

Reporting to a forward-thinking Financial Controller, you’ll take on a key role within a growing group structure. You’ll support everything from statutory accounting to enhancing the purchase ledger function, all while helping the company transition toward more agile and modernised financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate statutory accounting records across multiple trading entities
• Support month-end and year-end reporting and deliverables
• Lead and support the Accounts Payable team
• Play an active part in upcoming system enhancements and implementation work

Process Improvement Focus

• Review current processes with a fresh perspective and a continuous-improvement mindset
• Identify areas where automation and smarter workflows can add value
• Apply your experience with modern finance systems to introduce practical upgrades
• Bring forward ideas that help eliminate bottlenecks and support the finance team through rapid growth
