The FutureSense Group is looking for a hands-on, mission-driven Group Financial Controller to lead and reshape our finance function across a unique blend of commercial entities and an international development charity.

The Role - Group Financial Controller
This is a hands-on, operational role for someone who enjoys both setting financial strategy and managing the detail.
You will oversee:
· Financial strategy and planning
· Management accounts, reporting and forecasting
· Cashflow, controls and compliance
· Multi-entity financial management (charity + trading companies)
· Finance systems and process improvement
· A small, growing finance team (Finance Manager, Finance Assistants, and external bookkeeper)
This is ideal for someone who thrives in a lean, values-driven organisation where you can make a big impact.
Who We’re Looking For
You’re likely to be:
- A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- An experienced finance manager ready for a step into a senior lead role
- Comfortable working across charity + commercial entities
- Experienced in SMEs, charity finance, international operations or multi-entity structures
- Someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and improving systems
- Passionate about purpose-driven work and doing good in the world
International development or NGO experience is beneficial but not essential.
