Mode Search is pleased to be partnering with a leading business to support the appointment of a professional and polished Receptionist. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a client-facing role and enjoys being at the centre of a busy front-of-house environment.

Based in West London, this position operates onsite within a dynamic office environment and reports directly to the Office Manager. The successful candidate will play an integral part in ensuring a seamless visitor and workplace experience.

The Role

• Act as the first point of contact for all visitors, offering a warm and professional welcome
• Manage all incoming phone calls and emails, ensuring enquiries are directed to the correct departments
• Maintain a tidy, organised and presentable reception area at all times
• Coordinate meeting room bookings and assist with diary management where required
• Support with incoming post, packages and courier organisation
• Assist with administrative duties such as filing, data entry, document handling and general office support
• Handle daily front office tasks to ensure smooth office operations and exceptional service delivery
• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to support office coordination and communication

Requirements

• Previous experience in a receptionist or front-of-house role, ideally within a professional environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a confident and welcoming manner
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable operating phone and email systems
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks
• Professional presentation and a proactive, service-driven mindset
• Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual and committed to delivering excellent customer experience
