I'm supporting one of the most exciting HealthTech start-ups in the AI space, that within a year of being founded, have achieved series A funding. Due to this exponential growth, they're top priority is to hire a Head of Data to lead the design and architecture of a knowledge layer that supports advanced scientific modeling and global growth. This is an opportunity to step in to a very hands on role and scale a team from the ground up whilst contributing to the continued growth and success of this fast growing business!

You'd be joining a team of likeminded, passionate individuals who care about each others opinions and want to make the world around them better through the use of Data and AI.

What You’ll Do

• Design and structure core scientific data domains
• Develop scalable ontologies for modeling and integration
• Work closely with engineering, product, ML, and scientific users to align business needs and modeling semantics.
• Define standards for platform-wide data systems

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years in data modeling, semantic architecture, or ontology engineering
• Experience with scalable knowledge systems and integration across domains
• Hands-on with knowledge graphs, schemas, or structured data APIs
• Interest or experience in LLM-based interaction with structured data.
• Python, graph modeling, LLM/AI-integrated data frameworks experience is a plus
