I am currently working with a long-established, family-run law firm with a close-knit team of around 15 staff. The Opportunity

We are seeking a Legal Cashier to join our growing practice. This is a hands-on accounts role working alongside an experienced cashier, providing excellent exposure, support, and the chance to develop your skills at a steady pace.

The position is ideal for:

• Junior legal cashiers wanting more responsibility and mentorship.
• More experienced legal cashiers who enjoy being an integral part of a small, friendly team.

My client is open to full-time applicants, and will also consider part-time hours for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with daily legal cashiering tasks in line with SRA Accounts Rules
• Processing client and office account transactions
• Bank reconciliations
• Handling payments, receipts, transfers, and billing
• Maintaining accurate financial records
• Supporting the senior cashier and wider team with month-end and year-end duties
• Assisting with general office and administrative tasks as required

About You

• Some experience in a legal cashier or accounts role (from entry-level up to ~5 years; more senior applicants also welcome)
• Familiar with SRA Accounts Rules (training can be provided for junior candidates)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Positive attitude, team-focused, and willing to take a hands-on approach
• Comfortable working fully on-site in a friendly, collaborative office
