IT Trainer, initial 6 months contract with extension

A finance focused tech firm is strengthening how its people learn, collaborate and use technology day to day. They’re hiring an IT Trainer to design and deliver practical, confidence-building sessions that help colleagues work smarter with the firm’s digital tools and modern workplace platforms.

What You’ll Focus On

You’ll become a familiar, trusted presence across the business, helping teams develop stronger digital habits and get more out of the tools they already use.

The role blends:

• Delivering engaging training sessions for individuals and teams

• Designing simple, user-friendly learning materials

• Supporting new joiners to get up to speed quickly

• Helping colleagues troubleshoot common digital friction points

• Gathering feedback and spotting themes that inform future training

You won’t be expected to know every technology inside-out, but you should be confident learning new tools, explaining concepts clearly, and adapting your style to suit different levels of digital experience.

What They’re Looking For

• Solid experience in IT training, digital upskilling, L&D or similar roles

• Confident communicator who enjoys working directly with busy teams

• Strong grasp of modern workplace tools (e.g. Microsoft 365, collaboration platforms, workflow tools)

• Curious, patient and able to break down complex ideas into practical steps

• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, professional environment

• Financial services experience is welcome but not essential
