Since landing in the UK in 2010 as Neighbourly, we’ve expanded to over 330 locations across 6 premium brands—including the iconic Pimlico Plumbers, London’s No.1 premium home services provider.

With more than 4,000 frontline operatives, a reputation for investing in people, and consistent year-on-year growth, we’re now looking for an exceptional Chief Operating Officer to help lead the next phase of our UK expansion.

The Opportunity

As COO, you will be the operational driving force of Pimlico Plumbers and the wider Neighbourly UK business. Reporting directly to the UK Managing Director, you’ll lead multiple teams, shape strategic direction, and ensure outstanding operational performance across sales, marketing, HR, finance, and field operations.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced service environment and is excited by the challenge of scaling iconic, established brands.

What You’ll Lead & Deliver

Strategic & Commercial Leadership

  • Collaborate with the Leadership Team to develop business plans and budgets aligned with growth targets.
  • Drive new product and service innovation, including cost, risk and commercial analysis.
  • Translate strategic vision into operational objectives and measurable results.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple functions, ensuring consistent delivery of a best-in-class customer experience.
  • Analyse and optimise internal processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency, innovation, and scale.
  • Monitor performance, produce forecasts, and take corrective action when required.

People, Culture & Franchise Leadership

  • Lead and develop high-performing teams in HR, IT, H&S, Transport & Facilities, and the broader leadership group.
  • Build strong relationships with franchisees, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Establish policies that reinforce a positive, collaborative, and growth-oriented culture aligned with Neighbourly values.

Financial & Commercial Oversight

  • Manage capital investments and expenses to support profitable growth.
  • Own commercial outcomes and drive performance through strong KPIs, operational discipline, and service quality.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience as a COO, Operations Director, Senior GM, or equivalent, ideally within Facilities Management or Building Services.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of improving operational and financial performance.
  • Hands-on, visible leadership style with exceptional people and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and influencing at all organisational levels.
  • A natural coach and mentor with a passion for developing talent.
  • Degree-level education (preferred), plus a UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
