DV‑Cleared Bid Writer (Contract)

Location: Cambridgeshire, On‑site in secure facility

Duration: 5th January – 6th February 2026

We are seeking a DV‑cleared Bid Writer with a strong background in IT Managed Services to support a short‑term contract engagement. This role is critical in shaping persuasive, technically accurate responses to an Invitation to Negotiate (ITN) and embedding ITIL/ITSM best practice into proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop clear, compelling bid responses aligned with client requirements and industry best practice.
• Collaborate with SMEs, service architects, and delivery teams to translate complex technical concepts into client‑friendly language.
• Participate in bid reviews and contribute to win strategies.
• Ensure proposals meet governance standards and contractual requirements.
• Incorporate ITIL/ITSM principles into service descriptions and operating models.

Experience & Skills:

• Proven experience as a Bid Writer or Proposal Specialist within IT Managed Services.
• Strong knowledge of ITSM frameworks and ITIL principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with managed service models, SLAs, and service delivery processes.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and bid management tools.
